Celebrating Chinese New Year in WondeRoom

Despite the
colder weather, a lot of families came out to make art at another successful
event at the WondeRoom. This month, February, we are celebrating Chinese New Year- Year of
the Pig. This month, Lucky Clovers, Addie Hinton-Miller and Mia Barnes, led the
Sunday artists in making Chinese Good Luck lanterns out of plastic cups with
gold and red tissue paper and tea lights. They also made Year of the Pig
keychains out of out of gold, red and black beads and gold thread.
Overall, everyone had a good time making their "Good Luck" for the
coming Chinese New Year!
