October Reading Buddies celebrates HALLOWEEN!!

The October
Reading Buddies took place on October 13th of 2018. The 4-H leaders were Anita
and Megan Justin. The theme was Fall/Halloween.
First, I read to the kids the books My Teacher is a
Monster by Peter Brown and then I continued with The First of
Octember by Theo LeSieg.
For crafts,
we made decorated paper pumpkins and hand spiders. The snacks were Pirate’s
Booty, and assorted candy, like lollipops and chocolate. In total, we had seven
adults, three teens, and seven kids who joined.
It was a
super fun Reading Buddies and I’m excited to lead my next one!
