Valentines at the February 2017 Reading Buddies

It is always wonderful to be a part of reading buddies especially when it has a Valentines theme of LOVE! The February reading buddies took place on Saturday, February 10th at the Aspen Hill Library. It was led by Ayla Charlery and Eric Charlery. Also present to assist were Penny Martin, Seth Martin, Rose Martin, Anita Justin and Meghan Justin.

We read four wonderful Valentine’s Day books to the kids. We had many crafts for them to do, including a valentine’s heart hats, and heart paper owls. For snacks there were chocolate chip cookies, sweet hearts, smarties, and lollipops. This reading buddies was a great success! I encourage everyone to come out and bring a friend next month!
